Lawsuits against "The Voter Suppression Bill"

As you probably know by now, DeSantis signed SB 90 Elections (the voter suppression bill) into law this morning. He did it in true authoritarian fashion with all press other than Fox affiliates banned from the press conference.

And shortly after the signing, the lawsuits started. Below you will find the link that contains the lawsuit filed by the LWV, Black Voters Matter, Florida Alliance for Retired Americans, and others. It is really interesting reading and it helps to explain even further the new rules and associated problems for groups that have traditionally helped with voter registration and VBM ballot delivery to drop boxes. And here you can get access to the text of the second lawsuit filed today against SB 90 by the NAACP Legal Defense Fund on behalf of the Florida NAACP, Disability Rights Florida, and Common Cause. This lawsuit claims that the dropbox restrictions, ID requirements, food and water ban, etc., violate Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, the First and Fourteenth Amendments, and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
